1. What do I need?
For lessons you will need high-speed Internet access, a free program Skype, a webcam, and either headphones or a microphone.

2. What is Skype?
Skype is a free program for the exchange of voice and text messaging. Download the program here http://www.skype.com.

3. Can I do without a webcam?
We recommend that you do with a webcam as eye contact helps create the atmosphere of the lesson. However, to use or not use a webcam is your choice.

4. Why should I should study with Easy American English rather than a traditional school?
For busy people with busy schedules, it's a luxury to travel 1.5-2 hours on the road to visit a school. We offer to study at home or office in a comfortable environment at a convenient time for you. In addition, you choose the pace of your lessons, instead of following a set curriculum with multiple students. We offer a personal approach. You own and the teacher decide how often to meet and what aspects of language are necessary  to achieve maximum results.

5. Why should I should study with Easy American English rather than a face-to-face tutor?
There are many benefits to studying with an online teacher.  First of all, you do not spend time on the road to meet with a teacher face-to-face. Secondly, you save money!  The average cost of 1 academic hour (45 min.) with a native speaker $50. The cost of lessons with Easy American English is much cheaper. Thirdly, the use of audio-video resources and the Internet helps to make lessons interesting and effective.

6. How can I understand if Skype lessons are suitable for me personally?
We offer a FREE TRIAL LESSON, at which point we will be introduced, determine your level, clarify your goals and wishes to learn the language, and demonstrate our teaching methods. The choice is yours!

7. What is the class schedule?
You choose a convenient time for lessons: morning, afternoon and evening hours. We also offer weekend classes.

8. Can I reschedule classes?
If for some reason you can not attend the session, you can reschedule it with the teacher.  However, you must inform the teacher 24 hours in advance to avoid paying for the missed session.  In the case of an emergency (sudden illness, death of a family member, etc.) the teacher will reschedule the missed lesson without charge.  The teacher is also required to give you 24 hours notice if they must miss a session, again except in the case of an emergency, and will reschedule the lesson to the convenience of both parties.

9. How do Skype classes work?

The teacher will send you audio, video and text files that will be used for your session either by Skype file or email, whichever is most convenient for you. At the appointed time, the teacher will contact you and you will meet. Most of the lesson is devoted to a living dialogue, as well as working out those aspects of the language in which you would like to pay special attention.  Teachers use a variety of resource materials (Oxford, Longman, Cambridge, etc.), which you get for free.  Homework is given if the you so desire.  Written homework can be emailed to the teacher, who will correct it and email it back to the you.

10. Does the teacher correct errors during our conversation?
Depending on the student, the teacher can correct mistakes during the course of the lesson or send you a lesson report with your mistakes and suggestions following the lesson. The main goal of lessons is to remove the language barrier, communicate your ideas effectively, and feel more confident while speaking. 

11. How important is homework?
Homework may be different depending on your preferences and goals. This can be an exercise in grammar or vocabulary, exercises for listening, reading or speaking. We recommend that you regularly do homework to move faster towards your goals. However, if you are very busy (like most professional people), homework will given based on the time you have available.

12. How long does it take to pass a level?
There is no single answer to this question. It all depends on your efforts, abilities and desires. But usually you can learn one level in about 3-4 months, meeting 2-3 times a week.

13. What qualifications do your teachers have?
We only work with professional highly qualified teachers who have years of successful experience in teaching English (for 3 years and over). Our teachers, native and non-native are certified experts in the field of teaching English as a Foreign Language.

14. Should I choose classes with a native or non-native speaker?
At levels beginner and elementary, we recommend to do with non-native teachers to help explain grammar points. Starting from the level pre-intermediate, you can choose any teacher, depending on your goals and preferences. You can also combine classes with a native and non-native teacher.  Of course, the native teachers are trained to teach absolute beginners, as well, so the choice is yours.

15. How do we start?
Starting the course is very simple. Contact us for your FREE TRIAL LESSON. We will contact you within 24 hours and schedule a meeting with a teacher.  The teacher will contact you via Skype at the appointed time.

16. How do I pay for classes?
You can pay for 1, 5, 10 or 20 lessons. Please see the PURCHASE LESSONS page. Payment can be made ​​by Paypal or with bank cards Visa and Mastercard, etc.  Currency conversion is automatic.
